Position Overview

We are seeking a Project Engineer – Control Systems to lead the design, analysis, and maintenance of control systems for new and existing products. This role will manage engineering projects involving advanced control systems and integrate new technologies across Twin Disc entities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage control system projects through all development phases, from requirements analysis to system integration and production release.
  • Lead cross-functional product development teams to ensure timely completion of projects within cost and specification targets.
  • Oversee design of electronic control hardware, including schematic and circuit board reviews.
  • Coordinate hardware and software development efforts.
  • Develop and maintain control system documentation, including design specifications and test plans
  • Provide technical authority on product application issues and assist in root cause analysis.
  • Stay current with industry trends and introduce new technologies to enhance product performance.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Software, or Computer Engineering.
  • Experience: 3+ years in embedded control system development, preferably in vehicle/vessel powertrain industry.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Advanced knowledge of embedded systems and programming languages (Embedded C, C#, VB.Net).
    • Proficiency in electronics design software (e.g., Altium Designer), simulation tools (LabView®, Matlab®), and revision control systems.
    • Strong project management skills and familiarity with PLM systems (SmarTeam preferred).
  • Other Requirements:
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 10%).
    • Valid passport.
