Twin Disc is a global leader in power transmission technology, serving diverse markets with innovative solutions. We are seeking a dynamic Distribution Network Manager to lead and optimize our North American distribution network, ensuring strong partnerships and sustainable growth.


Position Summary

The Distribution Network Manager is responsible for managing distribution activities across North America to maximize sales performance and identify growth opportunities. This role focuses on building collaborative relationships with distributors, resolving issues, and continually evaluating and developing the network to maintain effective representation and drive long-term success.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sales initiatives through a robust North American distribution network to maximize revenue and expand market share.
  • Develop and maintain high-performing distributor relationships aligned with organizational goals.
  • Implement periodic distributor re-certification programs to uphold quality standards.
  • Organize product training, plant visits, and engagement events to strengthen technical expertise and relationships.
  • Manage the Distributor Advisory Council to capture market insights and influence strategy.
  • Monitor distributor inventory and warranty status for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with credit control and receivables within approved limits.
  • Travel up to 25% domestically to engage with distributors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in product application and sales.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, JDE, Qlikview, and Salesforce.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong presentation and relationship management abilities.
    • Spanish language proficiency preferred.
  • Technical: Extensive knowledge of Twin Disc products and applications; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Other: Valid passport; ability to manage complex networks and resolve conflicts effectively.
