About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and driven Product Service Engineer to join our Product Service team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical or electrical engineering background and a passion for solving complex field issues. You will analyze product applications, support field installations, and deliver technical training to customers and service teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field analysis using mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic test equipment.
- Prepare detailed reports to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Product Engineers, Test Engineers, and Quality Analysis teams.
- Lead new product installations, ensuring performance, alignment, and control systems meet standards.
- Develop and deliver technical training programs and service manuals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all Twin Disc products and changes.
- Travel up to 25% to support field service needs.
- Foster a cooperative and professional work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (BSME/BSEE) with 2+ years of experience, or a technical degree with equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical/hydraulic systems.
- Strong analytical skills for failure analysis and problem-solving.
- Proficiency with hand tools and specialized tooling.
- Working knowledge of personal computers and standard software; familiarity with JDE Enterprise One is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to design and implement technical training programs.
